The modern-war section now lists the Iraq and Afghanistan decorations from the available Lineage and Honors record: Valorous Unit Award for Iraq 2004; Meritorious Unit Commendations for Iraq 2005–2006, Iraq 2008–2009, and Afghanistan 2011–2012. Desert Shield / Storm remains a research note, not a battalion campaign-credit or award claim.

This page tracks confirmed campaign participation and decorations from official lineage, orders, and citation material. Scanned orders and citation images should be tied to the relevant era wherever possible.
World War II
Campaign participation includes North Africa, Sicily, Italy, southern France, and later European campaigns as listed in official lineage material.

Korean War campaign participation and Korea-era unit decoration material should be presented with official source wording and scanned citation support where available.

Official records list Iraq campaign participation for Iraqi Surge and Iraqi Sovereignty, with additional campaigns to be determined. Decorations include the Valorous Unit Award for Iraq 2004 and Meritorious Unit Commendations for Iraq 2005–2006 and Iraq 2008–2009.

The modern-war awards are strong enough to publish because they appear in the available Lineage and Honors material. Desert Shield / Storm stays in research-note territory for battalion campaign credit and unit awards until official paperwork says otherwise. That is not being timid. That is being right.
