DO YOU WANT TO SUPPORT THE TROOPS
ASSIGNED TO THE 14TH COMBAT ENGINEER BATTALION AT FORT LEWIS,
WASHINGTON?
The soldiers of the 14th Combat Engineer Battalion have deployed to Iraq and are
fully settled in their Areas of Operation. They expect to be there
for the full 18 month deployment. Some of the stations they are
operating out of have good logistical support while others are
pretty sparse. It is impossible to provide details of this nature at
this time.
If you would like to send boxes of Good Will items and expressions
of appreciation and support, please address the boxes or expressions
to:
CSM Sterling
Otto,
ATTN: 14th
CEB Assn (Good Will),
FOB Warrior,
APO, AE09336.
This is the Command Sergeant Major of
the 14th Combat Engineer Battalion, and he will see to it
that the boxes and expressions are delivered to the soldiers where
it is most needed.
These soldiers are just starting their 18 month deployment, and the
family members left behind deserve our strong support. The Family
Readiness Groups (FRGs) are well organized to provide aid and
assistance to family members, but sometimes there are situations
where additional support will be welcome.
There is an organization near Ft Lewis that specializes in this type
of work. They support the 14th Combat Engineer Battalion and other
units in the Pacific Northwest with contributions from businesses and
individuals like yourself. They have supported the 14th
CEB during prior deployments, and stand ready to support today.
